How often should I be trimming my wicks?

For best results it is recommended to trim wicks before each use.

What are our candles made of?

We use a natural soy/coconut wax blend, phthalate free fragrance oils and organic cotton wicks.

My candle wax has some separation after cooling

Due to the size and natural extremities of the candle it is normal to have some separation after cooling. We do not use any harsh chemicals or paraffin based wax to make it look artificial. This will not affect the integrity of the candle.

If your candle has a more than normal amount of separation or is cooling strange please contact us.

Do you ship international?

At the moment we're only shipping within the United States.

How do I find the best scent for my needs?

We offer sample trios of our best sellers! We recommend trying the sample set if you're hesitant on the scent. We also offer an unscented option for those who may be sensitive to fragrances.

How long can I burn my candles for?

Our candles can be burned up to several hours a day. We recommend your first burn to be 5 hours or more so that it burns evenly through and sets the stage for the remainder of the candle.

If burning for several hours, please do not leave it alone. With any candle, you should be extinguishing the flame if you are not home or within visible eyesight of it.

Can I re-purpose my candle vessel after its use?

Definitely! Many people will use their vessel for flower arrangements or other creative ideas. We recommend cleaning the vase with hot water, soap, or a heat gun before its next use.

I lost my candle care card? How do I properly take care of my candle(s)?

  1. Trim the wicks before every burn
  2. Never leave your burning candle unattended
  3. "Power burns" for more than 5 hours may be required to maintain an even melt
  4. When burning the first time, allow the candle to reach the edges completely to avoid tunneling
  5. Keep away from children and pets
  6. Keep away from things that can catch fire
  7. It is recommended to use a snuffer when extinguishing the flame.

How does the Big Ass Subscription work?

Welcome to the easiest way to stay luxuriously lit. Choose your delivery schedule: every 3 months for 25% off or every 6 months for 20% off. We’ll make sure your space always smells unreasonably good.

You have full control of your account. You can change your scent, switch sizes, adjust your delivery frequency, or even gift your next order to someone who deserves a Big Ass surprise.

Can I choose my candle scent each order?

Of course you can. You can change your fragrance or size anytime, from Baby to Big, depending on how extra you’re feeling.

Can I switch scents after I subscribe?

Yes, babe. You can update your scent, size, or schedule whenever you like. Your subscription should fit your vibe, not the other way around.

How often will my subscription ship?

You decide. Every 3 months for 25% off or every 6 months for 20% off. Need it sooner? Just select “Set Delivery” in your account to move it up. Because sometimes you just can’t wait for luxury.

Can I pause or skip a delivery?

Absolutely. Life happens and we get it. You can pause, skip, or even gift your next order directly from your account. Sharing your glow is the ultimate power move.

Do subscribers get exclusive perks or discounts?

Yes, you fancy thing, you do. Subscribers get early access to new drops, special discounts, and exclusive perks that no one else gets.

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

Yes. You can send your next candle as a gift. Just select “Gift Order,” add their address, and send the best-smelling surprise they’ll ever receive.

Shipping & orders

What are our shipping times?

Shipping times vary based on product, inventory, and time of year. Delivery estimates at checkout are from ship date.

I'm interested in carrying BAL in our store?

We now offer 30% off when you order 8 or more candles or 40% off when you order 16 or more. You can do this directly on our website with discounts applied at checkout. With regards to tax ID numbers please email that to contact@bigassluxuries.com

What is your return policy?

We want everyone to be happy with their purchase. We gladly accept return and exchanges within 30 days. If you would like to make a return or need to make a gift exchange please use this link.

Candles that have already been lit will not be accepted for returns. Please keep all original packaging if you plan on making a return.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure returns arrive safely. Broken or damaged candles will not be eligible for a refund.

If your order arrives damaged or cracked we will replace it within 14 days.

Items that are FINAL SALE & not eligible for returns:

Why have I not received my refund?

Once your return has been delivered, please allow up to 10 days for a refund to return to your original form of payment. Please contact us if you have not received it by then.

What happens if my candle is damaged or defective or items were lost in transit?

If glass is broken, DO NOT BURN! If damaged or defective please send pictures to contact@bigassluxuries.com to have it replaced.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes, we do. Local pickup is available from our warehouse by appointment only.

If you’re in the DFW area, you can select Local Pickup at checkout. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a link to schedule your pickup appointment.

Please note: if your order isn’t picked up within 30 days of your pickup notification, it will be canceled and refunded. We want your candles in your hands, not sitting lonely on our shelves.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Hell yes, we do.

  • 30% off orders of 8–15 candles

How do I apply for a wholesale account?

Easy. Email contact@bigassluxuries.com with yourTAX ID, and we’ll handle the rest.

Is there a minimum order quantity for wholesale?

Yup, the wholesale discount kicks in with a minimum of 8 candles.

Can I order custom scents or labels for my shop?

Custom labels? Absolutely.

Custom scents? Not yet, but it’s on our vision board for the future. Stay tuned.

Do you offer tester candles for wholesale partners?

We don’t do testers, but our Sample Trios are the perfect way to try out our fragrances. You can find them under Bundle & Save on our website; a luxe little intro to your next best-selling scent.

How long will it take to receive my wholesale order?

We typically ship wholesale orders within 1–2 weeks, depending on stock availability. (We’re fast, but also fancy.)

Corporate gifting

Do you offer bulk pricing for corporate gifts?

Yes! Our corporate gifting pricing matches our wholesale rates:

  • 30% off orders of 8–15 candles
  • 40% off orders of 16+ candles
  •  (Same goes for holders.)

Can you customize packaging or labels with our logo?

We don’t offer custom packaging, but we do offer custom labels for orders of 16+.

Customization adds a 7% markup, but your brand will look damn good.

What is the minimum order for corporate gifting?

Minimum is 8 candles, or 16 if you’d like them customized.

Do you ship gifts directly to individual recipients?

We sure can.

  • $10 per candle per address for split shipping
  • Free shipping if everything ships to one address (because we’re nice like that).

Can I choose different scents for a bulk order?

Of course! Mix and match scents and sizes to your heart’s delight.

How far in advance should I place my corporate gift order?

We recommend 4–6 weeks to keep everything smooth and stress-free.

Can I include a gift note?

Yes! We can include personalized gift notes for $5 per note. Because luxury is in the little details.
